Violin

Total Production 52

In what amounted to a marketing experiment, 52 Shenandoah violins were made in 1985 and the experiment was not repeated

To date, the Webmaster has found only two vague references to these instruments. The first is the official Martin production data, which lists the info shown above. The other is an eBay listing from at least a decade ago that read as follows:

“You are bidding on a rare C.F. Martin & Co. Shenandoah violin. We were told by C.F. Martin & Co. that in their reference source book that only 52 were made in 1985.

It has a volume knob and plug in for a cable to an amp. It is a hollow body. It's a creamy color. Inside the violin , there is a tag that states it's a Shenandoah Violins C.F. Martin & Co.”
